About The Band

Grasshopper, one of the best and most popular Geelong bands in the 1970s especially renowned for its vocal harmonies, has now reformed. 

The band plays classic hits from the exciting psychodelic sixties era.Their repertoire includes popular songs from The Beatles, The  Rolling Stones,  Procul Harum,  Spencer Davis,  The Hollies, The Searchers, The Doors, The Beach Boys, Credence Clearwater and  Aussie covers.

Grasshopper, with decades of experience, coupled with professionalism and modern technology, is now sounding better and tighter much to the pleasure of its wide fan base.

BAND MEMBERS                                                

During its eleven years on the music scene, Grasshopper experienced several changes in its line up most of which were drummers. The band disbanded in 1983.  Now, in 2013, the newly reformed Grasshopper still includes three original members.

Greg Bee … Guitar and lead vocals

George Juszczak … Bass guitar and vocals

Frank Adams … Keyboards and vocals

The newest member to join the group is drummer/vocalist Colin McIntosh who played in various original and cover bands in the 80’s and 90s.
